Importing sats data into Progresso from NCA TOOLS

Sorry for asking a newbie question but does anyone know how i import the KS2 sats results into progresso? I have manually entered the TA ones but was hoping to be able to import the ctf file and be done but can't seem to get it to work.

Hey

 

You should be able to import it into People | Learners | Import Data; if you select the CTF file in that screen it should go in fine.

 

If it doesn't, there'll be an error message in the grey box - what does that say?

If you downloaded the XML fle down early from NCATools, you may find the year has been stored as 2017. This has since been fixed, but clearing the erroneous records has so far proved impossible and I waiting on progresso support to provide a solution. Currently it looks as though I need a 'non software fix' (patch!) to resolve. It's a real nuisance as I can't really send off CTFs for Y6 leavers going to a different secondary school.

Thanks Dan - have now managed to import all of the data. Think it may have been that it was allocating the data to 2017 and 2018 as suggested below. Thought I was going mad!
