Strange DNS Issue

Hi All,

 

Just wanted to pick brains and see if anyone has any ideas,

 

Currently anything we are changing whether it be removing or adding to DNS reverts overnight. I deleted an entry yesterday, came in this morning and it is back again. I cant seem to see what is causing this at all. We had an issue also where we needed to change the IP address of an entry and the next day it again had reverted back to the old entry with the old address.

 

Has anyone else had this or have any clue as to what is happening,

Need a little more info to assist really, how many DCs are running DNS? Any odd DNS events logged?

I'm going to lay money on 2+ DNS servers. One not replicating correctly to the other and then the other replicating back and the net effect being a reversion.

 

Run:

 

 dcdiag /test:dns /v /s: DCNAME /DnsBasic 

 

and see if any weirdness is reported.
