Thanks for the public bashing, but surely you'd want to at least consider the points I raised before rolling out the first piece of software that Google finds?

Oh and please let me know the first time a student hops onto Airserver and starts playing porn to a classroom. If you're not concerned about security it's only a matter of days before it happens....

*sigh*

There are hundreds of schools using this, I have it on my MacBook so don't need to use Google to find it.

Never heard of a password restrictions to control device mirroring then...?

You would never give access to this in BYOD unless the devices were being filtered anyway

Has anyone tried this? Instead of buying a 65" touchscreen for £1.5k, buy a 65" non-touch screen and use a cheap android tablet as a touchpad for half the price?

I'm a bit late to this party, however, I am joining a primary-only MAT the week after next and I know they selected specifically this route and the reason presented was to reduce costs. I've no idea how far down the road they are, but I will know more in a few weeks. However, I think the thread has explored the situation already. The school where I am a governor are about to spend big on IWB (CTouch) and are going wireless. The cost differential for having wireless over non was significant.

@mavhc - have you come to any conclusions so far and decided which direction to go?
