Hi All,

Don't know if any of you had to/wanted to do this. Bringing back the Windows 8 Photoviewer back to Windows 10, using the following regedit:

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\photoviewer.dll]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\photoviewer.dll\shell]

[HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Applications\photoviewer.dll\shell\open]

It's obviously straightforward doing it on my office computer (double click it to add) but I want to roll it out using Group Policy Preference. I've rolled out various single reg items but not sure how to roll this one out.

Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Thanks

You can do this in just the same way as single entries, just add them one at a time to your GPO. If you want to be tidy, you can do New, Collection Item first and give it a meaningful name before adding them, then add the individual entries into the collection item so that they are kept together.

I did (try) do but it doesn't seem to be creating the reg entries on the workstation:

Any ideas where I might be going wrong?

Thanks again.

Most of those keys already exist so you might need to use replace/update etc rather than create, may explain why it's not updating them.
