rflook Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Hi, Hoping someone might have some guidance for me. We are looking at digitising our school pupil records - which are currently all on paper. As you can imagine, searching through these batches can be laborious, not to mention not having a backup in the potential disaster of the documents being destroyed in some way. We want to begin the process of digitising these documents using a solution which is easily searchable and can grant permissions on various documents (or collections of). We would also want to outsource the scanning of the documents as there are hundreds of thousands of pages. Also in an ideal world it would integrate with SIMS - but this isn't a deal breaker. Really grateful for any advice on this as slightly shooting in the dark.
mikkydoos Posted June 6, 2018 Posted June 6, 2018 Speak to your photocopier people. They often do document managent solutions.
