speckledegg Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 Hi there, Was just wondering if anyone had found a way of deploying Windows 10 feature updates without WSUS? Our server is too old to take advantage of this and as money is tight we would like to find a temporary way to update everyones machines. I realise there may not be an easy way to do this, but I'm just interested to see what others have done in similar situations. Thanks!
SHimmer45 Posted June 5, 2018 Posted June 5, 2018 (edited) arent the feature updates downloadable from the windows catalog site or you have WSUS Offline app which works well i use it for "gold" images. you can also create a scheduled task on your machine to call the silent updater part of the program Edited June 5, 2018 by SHimmer45

Thanks! pdq deploy has this on the paid edition as a built in deployment. might be able to recreate it with some trial an error on the free edition? it also has a 14 day trial you could use if youre quick - it will only deploy 3 paid packages though so get the feature updates in first!
