Payroll Software for Academies / MAT

Hello,

 

I am wondering what Payroll software you're using for your Academy / MAT please? We are currently using Sage 50 and this is quite limited and is increasingly causing payroll to consume more time.

 

I am wondering what else is out there please? We have looked at Carvel, Star & EduPay.

We use Cintra.

 

I can't comment on its effectiveness but I can say that I've been paid every month since I joined the organisation . On the occasions that I've had to contact their support people, they've been helpful and effective. The Sixth Form College that I used to work for also uses(used?) Cintra as well.

We have looked at Carvel and Ciphr. Ciphr looked the better option, mainly due to features and being web based.

probably not the answer wanted in terms of you looking for a sage replacement.

FWIW, Cintra can do both.

Note - in a MAT, this would be PS Financials/PS People - as IRIS own them.

I thought I would update. In the end we went with EduPay. It seemed to be the best all round plus it is web based. Other solutions seemed to be overly complex, expensive or not web based.

HI, has anyone got a honest review of Edu pay, we have recently become a MAT, we have Sims and Progresso MIS and are looking to move away from Civica (not happy with their support and multiple issues). If anyone has any experience and any comments/suggestions on their system before we meet with them next week they would be appreciated.
