I have an iso file that I have copied to the servers desktop and mounted. When I then click on Autorun it asks which of the following programs I would like to open the .hta file with and I have no ides.

The first programs listed are

Microsoft HTML application host

Microsoft Visual studio 2010

I think the .hta file is just the documentation, so open that in whatever program you want (what Windows suggests is probably fine) and it may well tell you how to install SIMS Discover.

Why aren't you using SOLUS3?

The tick box to deploy discover to clients was grayed out, so the LA said I needed to install the server and client on the server from he iso, in order to get the database setup. I have now managed to do this and can access the Discover admin sections to start a data transfer from Sims to Discover.

I then went back in to Solus and it was still grayed out, but then I found the server database tabs and filled those in, firstly I am wondering, if I had filled these tabs in at the start if it would have just completed the server install from Solus, as it looks like it would.

Anyway, I have now tried to deploy the Discovery client to a client computer in the office and on the client it says - There are no Discover workstation updates compatible with the current database version 7.180.4.0 (agent target id 63).

This has been a bit of a battle for me as it takes forever for the LA to come back with anything.

While I wait for the LA to work out why I cant see the Discovery update in Solus, should I uninstall my manual install on the server of the Discover client, and then use Solus to deploy the client on to itself when the LA have sent me the fix.

Basically I am trying to work out if the client even needs to be installed on the sql server, and if so should it be deployed from Solus?
