We have a Office 365 A1 and Proplus license. foolishly I saw the A1 auto renewed and thought I was ok but realized now proplus evidently doesn't.

Unfortunately the Proplus license had lapsed and now become disabled. is there a way I can enable it again? I am concerned that students and staff using Onedrive will now have the service disabled and eventually lose files stored in onedrive.

I cant see anyother way than add a new subscription. if that is the case how does that affect one drive files

Thanks

ProPlus is just the ability to download Office onto devices, and to use it on iPads etc.

If the A1 has renewed OK then they will not loose access to OneDrive or any files.

To renew ProPlus you need to activate it from the Microsoft Volume license site

ok, are you sure, I hope that is the case because one drive appears under the proplus subscription, not the A1.

I've had this, Pro Plus lapsed and was disabled. OneDrive unaffected. We've carried on without Pro Plus, as we couldn't get any sense out of the MS volume licensing team nor O365 support.

I have just got some students to login to onedrive and it being disabled doesn't seem to affect onedrive for now. I have only been disabled for 2 days so hope it doesn't manifest.

For anyone in future who reads this I foundthis after digging around

Once the account move from inactive to disabled, only the billing admin can reinstate the subscription. contrary to the image I am a global admin and I can not reinstate a disabled subscription

Advice for everyone that has an O365 tenancy check your notification recipients. in my circumstance all contact details were no longer valid. my technical contact was my email address of my previous company employment and the billing contact I found our finance team no longer monitor.
