Morning all! :)

Sounds fairly simple, but I'm struggling. Essentially, we're looking to move from Exchange/Outlook to G Suite and G-Mail. However the majority of SLT would love to continue using Outlook to access their e-mails. I'm currently testing with my own account, whereby I have enabled both POP and IMAP in my G-Mail account. However if I try to connect Outlook to my G-Mail account - using a variety of different addresses/ports - nothing works! These are the resources I've checked with:

Configure Microsoft Outlook For Gmail - Manual Settings

I've checked our firewall settings and I've also asked our third party support company to double check too. I'm able to connect to my G-Mail account on my iPhone by choosing 'Google' as the account type, but if I choose 'other' and type in the usual addresses/ports for POP or IMAP connection, I receive the error message attached.

This is on a mobile data connection, eliminating our firewall/network as the issue. Has anyone seen this before or knows what causes this message? I can't see anything obvious in G Suite! Help! :(

Hi ZeroHour!

Outlook on Windows is version 2010. Whilst trying on my iPhone, I just used the standard Apple Mail app. Essentially, I was attempting to test the settings recommended on the pages above, but on an unfiltered connection. I could try the settings again on Outlook 2010, but tether my phone to bypass our firewalls etc. However it seems as though something else is amiss?

Hmm it may be worth trying a trial of 2016 in case its that version. I thought it would work but they used to have a connector app(Google apps) ages ago for outlook if I recall.
