Hi all,

With GDPR on my mind how do you all transfer student work samples (coursework, video's etc.) to exam boards? Our drama assessments were sent off on an encrypted memory stick but with several samples for different assessments/exam boards this could get costly.

Any simple way you all do it? Encrypted zip?

Our Exams Officer has found that boards are asking more and more that work sent to them is protected by password and for that password to be sent in a separate E-Mail.

That is what I would prefer to do to be honest... just wondering the best way to go about this. A simple Office file is easy enough, but multiple documents (IT CA's for example) can be a bit of a nightmare. Would be great with the introduction of GDPR if exam boards actually produce guidance on what type of encryption they would prefer etc.

We have the AQA email come over the other day, they're either accepting Bitlocker or Zipped items. So will probably go down the Bitlocker route for them (as the policies will already be in place for other USB) else will use 7Zip etc
