Fazza Posted April 27, 2018 Posted April 27, 2018 I've got a HP LaserJet P2055n that has plenty of paper in the paper tray (tray 2) and the 'sensor' on the front of the paper try rises correctly to report that there is paper in the tray yet on the display of the printer it says No Paper. The tray doesnt look broken and I cant see anything amiss underneath the printer. Anybody know where the paper sensor is so I can see if it needs cleaning/fixing etc? I've looked in service manual but cant seem to find it.

3s-gtech Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 I think the sensor on these is a little black plastic toggle that drops down in an arc at the front part of the paper tray. It's quite fragile. Check that it hasn't snapped off or jammed. I think it can be replaced.
