JATSO Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Hi All, We block attached zip files from coming into our GAFE domain via gmail , but we have a couple of staff linked with child safety that receive attached files in a zipped folder, is it possible to allow attached zipped folders for certain members of staff and keep the block on others. If possible, How do i do it? Its the same account that sends zipped attachments every week. Thanks
chinesewhispers Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 If you are using the attachment compliance setting to block the file type, go back to that option, and at the bottom of that box, click on show options and you can have exclusions. Alternatively, create a quarantine where all such messages get delivered, and just release the ones that you deem are allowed on a periodic basis.
Ditto Posted April 19, 2018 Posted April 19, 2018 Do the zipped files have a password encryption? I found we could not receive a encrypted zipped files via GMail - no whitelisting to allow them through either. In the end I had to reluctantly accept using DropBox.
JATSO Posted April 21, 2018 Author Posted April 21, 2018 Looks like this is sorted now thanks very much for your replys. Deleted the options, for some reason it didn't like having 2 email addresses or 2 options don't know why as it allows you to create them.
