My daughters Wiley Fox Swift is currently misbehaving. It looks as if a recent Cyanogen update has gone awry and it is stuck in a boot loop.

It either hangs on the 'Cyanogen' boot screen, goes into the 'Optimising apps' process then reboots to the Cyanogen screen once more.

Booting into recovery mode (vol up + pwr) only gives me the fastboot screen with no recovery options (top tip, initialise the advanced recovery options in developer settings before it's too late!).

Just before I was about to post this I actually got into the 'proper' recover screen but have been unable to do so since .

Tried clearing the cache in that but didn't work, so any suggestions to access the real recovery screen will be gratefully received.

*Update*

Got into the recovery menu again and tried the factory reset option which apparently does nothing.

Looks like I'll have to wipe it and force a new install of Cyanogen on there.

Once more the joys of ADB await :(

Fixed!

Turns out that after selecting factory reset, it went through the app optimisation all over again and then booted into the setup screen :)
