Hello all

I have a 250 computer license and I can no longer install the agent on any more computers. I very much doubt I have used all the licenses but when I try run the installer as it claims the license has expired.

How are the licenses calculated? can they be duplicated if the computer is rebuilt and the software reinstalled? This is the only feasible explanation I can come up with as all other agents are working under the same license key.

Thanks

Paul

As far as I'm aware, the clients can be installed on as many PCs as you like, but the server accepts the clients on a first-come-first-served basis.

So it shouldn't matter if you reinstall the client on a rebuilt PC... :confused2:

Sorry I didn't offer much more of a solution, but perhaps this helps :)

From what I have seen on the forum @NetSupportTechSupport is pretty good and speedy. It would be worth giving them a call or e-mail.

Though @JimHew is right, the client can be installed on any machine, the server will validate the number. You can check how many clients your server is seeing by logging in and clicking the globe icon in the systray iirc.

Hi @dapaulio

The licenses in NetSupport Notify are calculated on the Notification Server. It sounds as though the evaluation licence that is built into the Notify installer file that you are trying to run may have expired.

Please could you send us a PM with your contact details and we will contact you and get this resolved.

Thanks

Adam
