Spirit Laser Cutter

Hi All,

 

We have just had to rebuild the desktop PC that powers our Spirit Laser Cutter. I've installed the driver and all is well, however the laser cutter is not getting it's origin set to 0,0 - and is instead starting to cut further in.

 

Has anyone seen this before and knows how to set it? I've looked at the drivers but cannot see anything that says 'Origin' - unless I am missing it.

It should be automatically homing itself to the top-right corner, is it not doing this at all?

Hi - yes it does this but then when you go to cut an image from Techsoft it randomly decides where to burn it instead of going to 0,0.

Ok, in the printer preferences, under the advance tab, you should have a position mode option, it should be set to home, it sounds like it may be set to relative?

Sorry @bald_pig - I got snowed under with other stuff and then Easter break happened - so no, I didn't get anywhere. I'll get back to it next week and report back.
