In MDT you can put update CABs into the packages folder and then tell it to deploy them as part of the task sequence, I usually do this with the cumulative updates to lessen the load on the WSUS server.

I'm deploying Windows 10 and Office 2016 using an MDT task sequence. I've therefore got the option either to put Office updates (in .msp format) in the "Updates" folder of the Office deployment or put CABs in the packages folder. I think I understand both processes, but I can't easily find a way to download a complete set of Office updates in either format. Any advice? @BKGarry where do you get the cumulative updates please? I found this: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4098622/april-2018-updates-for-microsoft-office but is that really all of them? Is everything included or superceded? It doesn't look like remotely enough...

Thanks
