Automating file permission changes

Hi guys,

 

We've had a problem recently where the permissions on the home folders on our Mac server have become trashed and need to be fixed, adding in each user etc. As we've got over 400 to do, this would take a lot of time doing it all manually, I wondered if anyone had any idea on whether or not this can be scripted to make my life a little easier?
