FTTP On Demand Anyone?

With 10:1 contention and longer fix times.

 

Point of FTTPoD is for people who can't get FTTP though, in 3 years hopefully they'll have FTTP'd all the places.

 

...contention is not nearly as bad as leased line providers would have you believe. Typically it’s less than 10% in the day time...and while it can be 30% in evenings that doesn’t affect school.

 

...and as for guarantee I’d service you get a four hour response time on both....but response time doesn’t mean fix time. For that ...expect Openreach to equally tardy.....
