jcollings Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I am after a new core switch for our network. Needs at least 16 1Gbit fibre ports and 16 copper 1Gbit ports but I guess more would be better for future new builds. Any ideas? We currently have a 3Com 4050 but it's full!
Kitkatninja Posted April 6, 2008 Posted April 6, 2008 I actually use the HP Procurve's, have you thought about the 4100 series (or the newer ones). Then all you have to do is buy the fibre modules for it. I find them realiable and they have a lifetime warrenty (plus cheaper than CISCO) -Ken
