Morning all,

Have a few users reporting that when signed into Chrome with their school email address they are unable to print through "Chrome's Print Management" as they see error

  • "The selected printer is not available or not installed correctly, check your printer or try selecting another"

This is only an issue when they are signed into Chrome, if they sign out of Chrome no issue and they can print just fine.

This effects various versions of Windows and Chrome.

Had a poke through G Suite and couldn't see any settings for this, was considering using GPO to force system print but figured why not ask on Edugeek just in case :)

I had this issue with a couple of users this morning, and I have seen it in the past. It usually goes away after a while, so I've just been downloading things as PDF and printing locally outside of Chrome.

Thank's. In the meanwhile, found the solution to our problem. A colleague messed with the gsuite settings to disable printing for our chromebook users. Instead of applying this to just the chromebookusers, he applied it to our full domain. Changed the setting and problem solved. Took me a while to get there, but it was this initial post that put me on the rigth track to check in the gsuite settings.
