[sims] SIMS leaving date where should it go?

HI can anyone confirm where the leaving data should go in SIMS should it go in Registration or School history or both? An does anyone know where salamander needs it to be?

Panel 11 in Student Details - the date of leaving goes in there and there must also be a Reason for leaving given. I don't think its possible to enter one anywhere else, unless you are doing bulk leavers at the end of Year 11 or 13. Edited February 26, 2018 by Linfit

it's recommended to enter this through Routines | Students | Leavers, to ensure all group memberships are ended at the same time. If you do it through panel 11 of the student's record you'll need to also run validate memberships to get the group memberships straight.

What does it mean if the student details year group/UTI/class are in brackets? In School History it has a date of leaving?

It means they are a leaver.

The brackets indicate they are no-longer in a group for the selected field, but the last group they were in is listed in the brackets. It is possible (all be it rare) to get these with students who aren't leavers.
