Hi,

 

I've just been handed some new software to install - French Grammar Studio by Granada Learning. I have installed the files to a public drive on our CC3 network and added the hash/path rules needed.

 

When testing this software it works fine as systemadmin but does not work as a student user with error:

 

Failed to set application path

 

Does anyone have any ideas? I previously installed a similar one to the same shared drive (different folder obviously) which worked fine.

Given that it works fine for the admin I'd guess permissions issue on the directory everything is installed into.

 

I'd try locating the install directory and change the permissions to allow domain users modify permissions and see if that helps.
