RiffRaff Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Hi, I have a teacher that when he clicks on the "My List Entry" icon on the SIMS toolbar he gets the following error: Input string was not in a correct format. : System.FormatException I have been doing a bit of testing and found that if he is logged on to the PC using his school AD account, then accesses SIMS he gets the error. If I log into SIMS with my SIMS credentials while the PC is logged on as the teacher, I get the same error. But if I log into the PC with my AD credentials, we can both log into SIMS and access "My List Entry" without any issues. This occurs on various PCs Has anybody come across this issue? Cheers
Dave_G Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 It could be something in his user profile on that particualr computer. Try removeing his locally cached profile and see if it still happens.
BKGarry Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Try deleting the "My SIMS Documents" and "tempSimsRpt" folders from the user's home drive/My Documents as well, seen them do funny things
RiffRaff Posted February 8, 2018 Author Posted February 8, 2018 Cheer guys, Turns out his home folder was completely full (he needs every single file even though 90% haven't been accessed for years) I removed one of his folders to free up some space and he seems to be working OK again now. Just need to educate staff regarding housekeeping now
