had a looong weekend getting there wednesday morning, internet on the phone was basically non-existant so couldn't post anything over the weekend.

 

got pretty close to Volbeat (honestly surprised the crowd wasn't big)

 

got VERY close to BabyMetal and was basically squashed between two circle pits every song because that's apparently fun to do everytime a song starts...

 

and also went straight to the merch stall as soon as i got there for a volbeat shirt as i missed out on a SOAD shirt last year as they basically sold old instantly...

That's one half of the crowd for GnR. You can just make out the Sound and Lighting tent creeping into the middle-right of the shot.

There would've been the same number of people on the other side of that. Nuts!

my misses was in one of the pits for babymetal.

i missed them as i was in the First aid tent after getting dropped on my back crowd surfing at Asking Alexandria

You may have to make some harsh decisions there; It doesn't look like you have left any time to actually move around. Don't forget if you are going from the 2nd stage to the 3rd it can be a good 15 minute walk if it is busy, even worse if you are going from the 4th to 3rd!

 

I would have had a hard time on the Sunday with Less Than Jake, The Hives, Alexisonfire, Rise Against & Manson to pick from at overlapping times.

 

When I went to Sonisphere in 2009 they had the main stages opposite each other and if a band was playing on one the other was free.

 

It was so good as it meant we didn't miss out on any main stage bands.

 

Although it was comical walking back and forth with everyone.
