timbo343 Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Im after some software that we can use to see which members of staff are in over school holidays and also find out when the full time staff will be taking their holidays. There are about 12 members on staff in total that are full time here. Any recommendations welcome Thanks Tim
fooby Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 This "software" will only work if it can get the information of whether the staff member is in or not from some sort of database. if this is in a database, then the information wouldhave been added by a human that should already know this. an other option is to re-actively log the holidays to see who is in or just plain ask the staff? is this in sims (or other school management system)? some ideas - hth
Domino Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 Microsoft office project? or are you using sharepoint? would be easy to knock up a multi-user calendar in either

john Posted April 1, 2008 Posted April 1, 2008 I'd say either Sharepoint Calender (in SBS they even give you one OOTB called Vacation Calender!) or a shared calender on MS Exchange that those who need to be able to deal with can add remove etc. Or do as our place does, bits of A3 on one of the SMTs doors, gridded out for all days in the holiday and they sign up on that.
