Resetting Surface Pro 4

Have a problem with a broken Surface Pro 4 (Broken touchscreen), sending it off to be repaired/replaced.

 

So i have to wipe the drive down so it doesn't contain any sensitive data.

 

1st thing i tried was the reset in windows 10, it doesn't work it gets to 25% and fails each time, i've tried several different types of reset or restore.

 

2nd: reinstall win 10 from a usb within windows, fails to start, stays on the windows logo once clicking setup.

 

3rd: USB stick, won't boot from the USB....

 

4th: Various different cmds and config changes, no luck

 

5th: Post on here and ask for help before i throw it out the window.

 

 

Anyone else had this problem?

Fixed:

 

Wiped the drive in Disk Part, still couldnt boot from the USB, but i can from PXE so it's now installing via SCCM....
