Group Policy to Disable Quick Access in Windows 10

Hi there,

Has anyone managed to set their client Windows 10 systems to open My Computer in Explorer by default rather than Quick access?

On a standalone computer, you would open Explorer, click View>Options and then change Open File Explorer to: This PC from Quick access.

I found the following online, however, when adding new registry properties to a new group policy, I am unable to find the CLSID folder within the HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\

Would be grateful of any help on this.

Create a registry entry under Computer Config -> Preferences -> Windows Settings -> Registry

Keypath: SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced
Value name: LaunchTo
Value type: REG_DWORD
Value data: 1

Thanks very much for the help with this. I followed through what you put, here are my settings, but this doesn't seem to be working. Have I put it in wrong somehow?

The only thing I couldn't see was the Hexadecimal or Decimal radio buttons. They were not visible on my Group Policy. I am on a 2016 server.

If anyone needs the Registry settings to hide "Quick Access" and "Network" in File Explorer let me know and I'll post the setings.
