GPOs randomly not applying

Every now and then when users logon, we have noticed some GPOs do not get apply at logon.

 

Things like BGInfo script, Mapped Drives, Logon scripts, Printers etc.

 

I've run gpresult with /h and rsop.msc and they all show GPOs being applied

 

If the user logs off and on again straight away, the GPOs get applied correctly.

 

Currently seeing these issues on Windows 10 LTSB and 1709 - not noticed on Windows 7

 

Anyone else come across strange little things like this?
