Hi,

Can anyone shed some light on why an Office365 account would disallow editing on a Mac? Upon opening up a regular PowerPoint document, the warning message "View Only Your account [email protected] doesn't allow editing on a Mac. To learn more, contact your admin about your Office plan."

I checked the account, and it has Office 365 ProPlus for faculty and Office 365 A1 for faculty (just like every other user account). However, there are no editing warnings on a Windows PC.

If you log out and back in does it re-enable it? (office wise I mean, not pc/mac)

Sometimes if it expires, it'll upset the mac version, and it won't re-allow it until you log out and in for some reason
