Sheridan Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 What do you do when an app requested isn't available through the VPP Store? Even though its free and can be seen in the 'normal' itunes store I can't deploy it to a set of iPads - does this mean I then have to use Configurator to manually download the app with a different account and deploy it manually?
Sheridan Posted December 5, 2017 Author Posted December 5, 2017 Actually, scratch that - bizarrely when searching the VPP store logged in using Firefox the App doesn't appear, login using Chrome and it does? How odd is that! 1
Scrumpy Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 I had this problem this morning when using Firefox as I couldn't find any apps when doing a search, but never thought to use Chrome. I did find a thread on here that said to paste in the URL of the app on the iTunes site into the VPP search box when logged in, and that then worked when using Firefox. Bizarre indeed.
Brimstone Posted December 5, 2017 Posted December 5, 2017 *sighs* Apple School/VPP manager does not support Firefox..... https://help.apple.com/schoolmanager/#/asm6d9dc7acf

And you'd think that it would warn you when logging in. It works - just not all the apps appear.
