[sims] Help fixing SIMS issue

Hi

 

I have come in this morning to the majority of my staff not able to open sims. They click the shortcut and the SIMS icon pops up in the system tray and disappears really quickly. No error messages appear.

 

I have a couple of staff on it, tends to be the ones who come in early.

 

No updates were done or any changes to the network. Cannot get it to open on the actual SIMS server as it does the same thing there too.

 

Any ideas? Or where to start looking?

Anything in eventlog on the clients?

Checked under Windows Logs > Application and cannot see any errors.

Reboot sims server, or restart services on the server

Seem to have fixed it. The connect.ini file was locked in some way. Recopied some sims folders over and restart seems to have done the trick.
