Email Notification- Backup 2012/Task

Hi Everyone

 

I'm wondering if anyone knows an easier option on how to setup a task to check the server backup on 2012 has successful completed or failed

 

Microsoft have decided to pull it on the task scheduler but I'm aware that it can be done via powershell.

 

I am not very good at scripting or using powershell commands so could someone put me in the right direction or create one for me using ID4 being successful and ID5 being failed as the ids will check the event viewer log for this.

 

Can someone right one which I can amend ?
