Ditto Posted November 11, 2017 Posted November 11, 2017 The census submission deadline is 1st November, but the DfE bulletin states "The database will close to amendments from schools and local authorities on Wednesday 29 November" Our BM has asked if I can update it as a couple of extra FSM eligible pupils have been identified post submission approval. Has anyone any experience or advice for making changes post approval/authorisation?
Ditto Posted November 11, 2017 Author Posted November 11, 2017 Not yet. With the return approved and authorised, I wanted to see hear what might follow from anyone who has done this. For example, will I need to update the return notes to justify the late change?
Ditto Posted November 24, 2017 Author Posted November 24, 2017 I'm going to re-open today and make a couple of edits for FSM and re-submit - I've decided it's not worth a full reload. From what I've read in the 'ESFA bulletins', I think the date for amendments by 29th is intended for LAs to use, but in the absence of any other comments, I'm going to trailblaze! I'll post the outcome in due course.
Ditto Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 Open, amended, re-submitted and already re-approved and authorised - so trouble free. I can only guess that they run the blade 'amendments' report and see nothing to worry them. As it turns out, my FSM changes could have waited - apparently the funding is calculated off the back of the Spring census!
