Cannot print multiple copies of documents. Just get 'IB' on the pages

Hi there,

we have a Samsung CLP-775 printer that will not print multiple copies of documents.

If I try to print 6 copies of a doc, it just prints out x6 pages with just IB in the top left of the page.

I have tried several drivers (PCL6 and Universal) but hasn't changed a thing.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks

Hi,

We had a slightly diffrent problem to you last week but could be relevant.

When we sent a print with multiple copies it would only print the first copy and the rest wouldn't not be printed.

The printer we had the problem with could have a hard drive installed which it did not. We had the hard drive option turn on in print setting, so once we turned this off it allowed multiple copies to be printed.

Hope that helps

On the PC, have you checked printer properties > Advanced > Enable advanced printing features to see if this is enabled or not? If enabled, try switching it off. I've had odd results when it is on other printers.

Thanks for the post.

I have turned off the ‘Advanced Features’ and will test this in the morning.

The support for these things has gone over to Hp and it’s been shocking to say the least. :)

Right then, if I'm logged in with a domain admin account, I can print multiple copies.

Logged in with standard Teacher, Non-Teacher or Student account I cannot print multple copies.

Looking at the permissions on the print queue, they're no different from the other printers of which we have no issues with. :(
