Tempted to get a Google home speaker but wanted to know from someone who has one. On the voice recognition does it pick up different Spotify accounts for the different voices? Or is there an easy way to switch between Spotify accounts?

I've got an Amazon dot but each time I'm in work listening to Spotify and my wife puts it on at home it cuts me off my account.

Cheers

It does. Once you have linked both of your Google accounts/voices to Google Home and setup your own Spotify accounts as your default music service in the app, Google Home will recognize who's who and automatically play music from your respective Spotify accounts. :)

The following video demonstrates the process...

We use one in the office which was a mistake because it's gotten to the point where hearing the words "Ok, Google." are driving me round the bend. That said, everyone was born and bred here and we are all around the same age yet it knows who is who, the voice recognition is amazing.

I have one alongside the Amazon echo. The echo was switched off about 5 minutes after the Google Home was plugged in, and has been sat beside it without power ever since. It's just crap in comparison.

Good luck!
