Userfriendly access to Bitlockered USB sticks on OS X?

This is very much a "would be nice" on hardware not owned by the school, since OneDrive pretty much replaces USB sticks for all but those staff members living out in the middle of rural heck on a chicken farm*, but....

I know, I can install dislocker and mount Bitlocker volumes via FUSE. That's fine for me....less so for people who aren't even aware Terminal exists.

The other option I've found is M3 Bitlocker Loader for Mac at $59. The trial version appears to work OK.

Is there anything else you've found?

I thought about this, and it actually worked out cheaper and easier to buy encrypted USB sticks that come with Windows and Mac compatible applications on them (like the Kingston Datatraveler Locker+ we have).

M3 do a free bitlocker reader, so if it's just to be able to check stuff at home etc that should do it. Or is this full write access etc too?

They've got three alternatives already (remote access, school-issued encrypted laptop with offline files, OneDrive), so I'm not spending school money. This is a "if you insist on using a stick on a Mac, here's a workaround that you can use/pay for yourselves".

It'd be write access, just because I know I'd get the "but I couldn't save X hours of work" problem otherwise.
