Office 2010 screen refresh issue

Hi All,

 

Over the last few weeks, I've been seeing an increasing number of PCs in school exhibiting weird screen refresh issues in Office products. Here is an example:-

 

 

I've tried uninstalling office and re-installing but that doesn't fix it. I've had to resort to completely rebuilding the PC. However, the problem seems to happening on more and more machines as the weeks go by. Has anyone else seen this or know what causes it?

We had the same problem and managed to fix it by disabling Smart Ink.

Office uses hardware acceleration for a lot of things. I've had a couple labs with on board Intel video that used the MS drivers that would cause Office to behave like that. Try updating the video drivers for whatever chipset the desktop has.
