Staff have been getting an issue when they try to log in to Kerboodle on Google Chrome lately. When they try to log in to the website, instead of authenticating their log-in, it takes the user straight back to the Log-in screen.

Everything works fine when logged in to a local admin account where no GPOs are applied, so i'm guessing that this is down to a GPO setting but i've been unable to resolve the problem.

Anyone have any ideas about what might be causing it?

Have you got Impero? As we had this, whitelisted it in Impero and all was well again.

We've had to do the same previously, Impero seems to block some sign in pages.

Hi all,

A little while back, we changed the way we interrogate SSL, as we previously experienced some scenarios as you're describing. Since we've changed the way we work with this, we've not had any more reports. Please ensure you're on the latest version of Impero for the correct BHO, and have downloaded the latest Chrome extension (1.1.6) if using Chrome. If any of you need further information on this please feel free to send me a PM and i'll get the details over to you.

I can see an Allow List in Group on Impero, but it say's that the allow only list restricts all websites except those in the list.

Is there there somewhere in Impero where i can add an exemption for it?

You may whitelist by right clicking on a group (entire network if appropriate), selecting Advanced Policies, Click 'add' to create a new policy, choosing type whitelist. Give it a name, and then click on the right hand side to add a new policy item, select type URL and specify URL. Ensure that you enable the policy in the advanced policy window before exiting.

Indeed an Allow list is the opposite of block in that the specified site(s) will be the only site(s) allowed, everything else will be blocked. Whitelist will stop Impero from doing anything with the site specified; bear in mind this includes captures and blocks, etc.

Ah right, we're using 1.1.3 - I'll drop a message to support for the details to update.

Thanks
