Hi,

I am wondering if anybody has came across this problem.

Basically when setting up outlook 2016 with office 365 we get a blank white box where the users are supposed to enter their login details.

Most computers work fine and the box appears however we have a few that do this.

We had problems with our domain pointing to autodiscover.outlook.com as the autodiscover xml doesn't seem to exist.

However it started to work with autodiscover-s.outlook.com

But now we get this problem on some computers. I have tried reinstalling office, I have tried deleting profiles, I have tried to reimage the machine but nothing fixes it.

Thanks in advance.

That could be the box asking for credentials. We got round that be enabling modern auth and putting the AAD Passthrough URLs in to the trusted sites list via group policy.

We also updated AADsync to the latest version and enabled the Passthrough option.

Sometimes not having the default gateway listed, proxy set or Automatic configuration ticked in IE settings causes issues too.

Do you have a list off the passthrough urls? I have enabled modern auth and I set AADsync to use the passthrough option. However I still get the white box.

If I leave the white box for 30 mins or so it does eventually pop up asking for the email address and password.

Thanks in advance.
