Hi,

Does anyone have experience of using the progress trackers or the programme of study features?

What are the strengths and weaknesses of each system? To they talk to each other?

Each of my departments has an assessment framework that runs across all year groups and I would like to set them up in SIMS so that students can be assessed against them in addition to summative assessment data.

I'm a sims novice, so any suggestions would be appreciated.

The programme of study features are particularly useful for early years through to KS3. I would use traditional Aspects (means assessment opportunity i.e. grade, comment, reading age etc). If you use Aspects make sure you use result sets (time periods) as this simplifies reporting.
