Looking for a Graphics card to boost my pc that i'm looking to sell. Budget of around £50

 

The buyer wants to be able to play h1z1 (which i think is the most graphically intensive game on the list of games he wants)

 

I did buy a 6950, but that didn't work, and was too heavy to support itself, so looking for something smaller that will run h1z1 reasonably well.

For that kind of price, you should be able to pick up a new 4 year old design AMD R7 240/250 model

will something like that play newer games to an acceptable level then do you reckon?

A 4 year old, low end card will never be particularly great, but looking at the specs, it should out perform the minimum specs for the game. It won't have a massively high FPS, and are well below speed (but also a lot cheaper) than the recommended GPU (R9 280, GTX 960). But for a 50-60 quid GPU, it's not that bad.

 

If you can get them to pay about double for the card, you have the RX 550 which is a superior card by quite some way (the 4GB version is the one to go for)

Alas, not that much budget ( I don't think), will probably be a case of getting something that'll do a job until Xmas or something. Already selling them my pc for over £100 and they'll be buying the card on top of that (which i'll fit)
