Farney Close School is an independent weekly boarding special school with charitable status for boys and girls aged 11 to 19 years, who are experiencing social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. The school is set in 33 acres, with a range of outbuildings.

We are looking for an ICT Support Technician to provide IT and technical support to colleagues, young people and visiting external professionals during term times only. Working closely with the Network Manager you will be responsible for providing the highest level of service and support in a range of IT related tasks. You will be required to ensure that all classrooms and other users have access to appropriate ICT resources all in full working order.

Flexibility, a sense of humour, a logical approach to problem solving and good time management skills are all required to fulfil this role. Experience is desirable but not essential. However, you will require a GCSE or Equivalent English and Maths and knowledge of Microsoft Client Operating Systems & Software. Willing to consider a person on a gap year or starting in a career in IT.

In return we offer an annual salary of £16,191 (£14,070 pro rata) working Monday to Friday, during school term times only. One year contract.
