dapaulio Posted July 11, 2017 Posted July 11, 2017 Ipconfig is a cmd line tool that shows a computers configuration with the network it is connected too. Ipconfig can be used for troubleshooting but I doubt that it will help you much with webpage loading speed. Looking at your screen I am guessing this is a home computer connected to a domestic home network. There can be many reasons for webpage to load slowly and we would need to know more info to help diagnose Firstly am I right in assuming this is a home network connected to an router provided by your service provider eg bt, sky etc Are you experiencing these symptoms only on one computer? Do you experience the symptoms all the time or intermittent? Do you have antivirus and if so how many of them are installed on your computer. If you navigate to fast.com and run a speed test what results do you get That's probably enough questions to get us started 😀

Davit2005 Posted July 12, 2017 Posted July 12, 2017 Run: ping -6 Google from a command line and check it resolves to an IPv6 address. You could try setting a IPv6 DNS server address of 2001:4860:4860::8888 and secondary as 2001:4860:4860::8844 Try disabling IPv6 on the Network Interfaces as a test. Youv'e tried removing AV which is a good test jus make sure it is completely uninstalled but make sure you load an AV solution after you have run the tests of depending what OS you are running stick with the built in windows options if running Win10.

leachim Posted July 12, 2017 Author Posted July 12, 2017 Just identified the problem Antivirus I uninstalled AVG because I thought it was causing trouble - put on Avast free Now when I disable it - I can surf to webpages Whats going on ? I have done a repair on avast, to no avail What other AV programs are there that would not cause trouble ?
