Edu-IT Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 I can't be the only person to have done this... I was messing about with software restrictions on my PC and mistakenly I've disallowed access to the C:/ rather than the path I wanted to disallow. I can't undo it either because I'm blocked from accessing anything! Can I do undo this or have I well and truly messed up?
Edu-IT Posted March 14, 2008 Author Posted March 14, 2008 Local policy. It's not a networked machine, it's my own.
Edu-IT Posted March 14, 2008 Author Posted March 14, 2008 (edited) I know it was a foolish thing to do but it wasn't intentional. Nevertheless I've done it and now I'm kicking myself! I'll try gpedit.msc when I get back to the PC. Edit: This worked. Thanks. Edited March 14, 2008 by Edu-IT
Lithium Posted March 14, 2008 Posted March 14, 2008 SRP doesn't apply to Safe-Mode does it? I thought by default it didn't affect Local Administrators either...?

Edu-IT Posted March 15, 2008 Author Posted March 15, 2008 Push out replacement policies using centralised group policy? I've fixed it now, with the help of FN. Thanks anyway!
FN-GM Posted March 16, 2008 Posted March 16, 2008 Push out replacement policies using centralised group policy? I don't think he is on a domain machine.
