CommodoreS Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 In the licences I have currently got available: Office 365 Education for faculty Exchange Online (Plan 1) for students Office 365 Education Plus for students How do I add Office 365 Education Plus for faculty licences? I have looked in Billing and Purchase Services but they are not listed there.
CommodoreS Posted July 5, 2017 Author Posted July 5, 2017 Just spoke to someone at another school. They say they have Office 365 Education Plus for faculty licences but do not have Office 365 Education Plus for students licences and also can not find any way of adding these. Should they be added automatically or do you have to contact Microsoft?
Katy Posted July 5, 2017 Posted July 5, 2017 We had to place a £0 order with our MS licensing reseller to get the ProPlus ones to appear on 365, one year they messed up and we ended up with double the number of students and none of the faculty ones so we just allocated student licences to all the staff and it didn't seem to affect anything.
CommodoreS Posted July 5, 2017 Author Posted July 5, 2017 So there is no difference between Faculty and Student licences then? I would have though Faculty users would have some admin control over Student users for some aspects of the system. Its just nice to be accurate. The Plus licence also looks different to other licences in the subscriptions section so I am guessing MS added these automatically but messed up a bit when adding them.
