newpersn Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 As above. Just updated the firmware on our NAS and i cant seem to access any shares. i can ping and access the web settings fine. Is there something so simple that im missing?
eddyc Posted June 30, 2017 Posted June 30, 2017 Did you change the SMB level at all? We found we couldn't browse our shares after a firmware upgrade and changing the smb version. A reboot of the client then made the shares reappear. It was like it was cached or something

3s-gtech Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 It may allow you to change it in the web interface, or sometimes you can check it if you have SSH access. What error do you get when you try?

I reloaded the firmware on the nas and got it working. No idea what went wrong but it's working fine Think I might stick to windows shares.
3s-gtech Posted July 1, 2017 Posted July 1, 2017 Maybe the SMB service didn't start automatically before. Easy enough fix though! 1
