Follow me Printing - not working when main Printer out of ink.

We have 3 printers set up, so that you can go to any of the printers, you enter a code and your print jobs are listed, then you select which to print.

 

They are UTAX printers and one is the master and the other two are slaves.

 

The master is currently out of toner, but the other 2 work fine, except that the print jobs are never leaving the server, they are sitting in the queue presumably because the server thinks the printer is out of order. Because they aren't getting sent to the master, we can't pick them up on the 2 working printers.

 

Is there anyway to force the print server to send the jobs even if it detects a 'fault' with the printer?

what software are you using for follow-me printing

 

but it must be due to the 3 printers using one print queue so if the main one is in error it locks up, any options for turning off error reporting?

it's called Utax Print and Follow, and I'm sure that's right, they are all on one queue.
