Removing local printers

I believe you have to use Windows Powershell to remove local printers such as 'Microsoft Print to PDF'....

 

I have tried this but am struggling.

 

Does anyone use this and as a logon or power on script?

Microsoft Print to PDF is an optional feature in Windows and can be removed using Remove-WindowsFeature or can be removed from your golden image.

Ummm... I'm doing it with a GPO and delete printer connections at machine level...

 

Computer Settings -> Control Panel Settings -> Printers

 

Local Printer (Name: Fax)

Fax (Order: 1)

General

Action Delete

Common

Options

Stop processing items on this extension if an error occurs on this item No

Apply once and do not reapply No

 

Local Printer (Name: SMART Notebook Document Writer)

SMART Notebook Document Writer (Order: 2)
