colly72 Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Morning all, We recently had installed a new Avaya IP Office system, to replace our ancient Alcatel phone switch. All is working well but our Bursar has now asked if we can pull off meaningful reports from the system. I know that we can purchase off the shelf reporting software that will provide reports but we've been quoted £1500, which seems overkill for our basic needs. Does anyone have experience of tapping into the raw CDR data that the IPO outputs and converting it into meaningful data? Thanks in advance.
Gurtlush Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 i think you can use an SMDR software receiver and set the Avaya software to push to it? That will give raw data and then you can sort it into meaningful reports? Haven't got access at the moment to check but you used to be able to. 1

Been doing a bit of research myself this morning - I might try something like this: SMDR Receiver | Personal website of Dave Hope 1
win Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Not free but you can use Call Accountant from ITEL, this will give you full reports with IPOM 1
MatthewL Posted June 23, 2017 Posted June 23, 2017 Oak logging is generally what is used with Avaya IPO I think, not sure on cost as we bundled it in on our systems that needed it. 1
colly72 Posted June 23, 2017 Author Posted June 23, 2017 OK, so I've got the raw data being outputted to csv, using the Dave Hope SMDR receiver. Does anyone have any experience of this software (freeware) to create the reports? SMDR+
